Warranty and Liability Information
Product Warranty
We guarantee that our goods will match the stated description and specifications. Manufacturer’s guarantees and after-sales services are detailed in the documents accompanying the goods or available online on the respective manufacturer’s website, including the TV/TFT dead pixel policy. This warranty does not limit or affect your Legal Warranty or any other legal statutory rights.
Warranty Period and Validity
The warranty period starts from the date of purchase with a valid invoice. All warranties are valid only upon presentation of this Agreement, Invoice/Cashsale, and Fiscal Receipt along with manuals, software, and any other items, including the original packaging. Products must be inspected by our Servicing Department at 93, Guze Ellul Mercer Street, Qormi, before any repair or replacement is carried out.
Repair and Replacement
Megatekk may repair or replace products and parts under warranty with comparable products and parts that comply with local standards and the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. Repairs or replacements do not reset the warranty period, but you are entitled to a warranty extension equal to the time the product is in service.
Customer Support and Advice
We are always ready to offer advice about our goods, including installation, compatibility, configuration, and product upgrades. We will take reasonable care when providing advice based on the general purpose for which you require our goods. However, without knowing the exact application and existing system specifications, we cannot warrant the suitability of any goods for your particular purpose.
Software and Data Responsibility
The manufacturer’s warranty covers hardware component failures only. Megatekk assumes no responsibility for any software installed subsequently. It is your responsibility to back up your hard drive contents before sending in the product for service, as data loss or reformatting may occur during repair. Megatekk will not be responsible for any damage or loss of programs, data, or information stored on any media, or any consequential damages.
Software Disclaimer
Any software supplied with the product, including the operating system, is provided “as is”. Megatekk does not warrant that the operation of any software will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. Your product will be returned configured as originally purchased.
Third-Party Hardware and Software
Please remove all third-party hardware, software, features, parts, options, alterations, and attachments not warranted by Megatekk before servicing. Megatekk is not responsible for any loss or damage to these items.

This limited warranty does not cover:
The warranty is invalid if the product’s serial number has been altered or removed. Megatekk does not guarantee compatibility with other parts or peripherals.
Ownership and Replacement
Any defective components replaced under this warranty become the property of Megatekk. We may use various vendors’ components for repairs as required. Replacement products may be new or refurbished, with functionality at least equal to the original product.
Limitations of Liability
Goods are not sold on a trial basis and may be supplied in cosmetically different packaging. All trademarks and logos are acknowledged. Goods remain the property of Megatekk until fully paid for. In case of unresolved complaints, you can refer disputes to the EU’s Online Dispute Resolution Platform at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
To the extent allowed by local law, Megatekk will not be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss or damage. Our total liability shall not exceed the price paid for the product.
