The bit: LAMP has connections that allow the microbit to be bolted/clipped directly onto it. It was designed to replicate a street light, in form and function. This board is ideal for transportation projects and has been designed to match the same aesthetic as STOP: bit, so they can be used together in the same projects.
The board also features a phototransistor that can be used to react to changes in ambient light levels, turning the white LED on and off independently. For timed switching, the project could include the Kitronik RTC board for a different type of autonomy.
The board is powered by the micro: bit connected to it via pins 0V and 3V.
